New Year’s Day 2013

Lazy day, but I’m happy.

Ever hear of Freecycle? I’d heard of it here and there, but never really looked into it. Today, I delved in and ended up with a pre-lit Christmas tree for next year! I’m thrilled! Ours is broken, so this was great for us. This is a pretty neat concept. Basically keeping this out of the landfills if they aren’t really garbage. Good stuff!

The Blessing Bags event has been set up. My sister is opening up her home. We have volunteers gathering on January 11, 2013. Donations are also coming in. Couldn’t be happier about making a difference to other people!

Half Price Books in Bloomingdale, IL is a really neat store. My hubby showed me this gem today. I’m going back tomorrow to try and sell some things.

Finally, it feels like Sunday night. But it’s really Tuesday night. This means tomorrow will feel like a Monday, but I’ll already be halfway through my work week. Success!

Happy 2013 friends!

About jenni41013

I am a 37 year old wife, mom, sister, auntie, daughter, friend and advocate living in the burbs. In 2012 when I started writing, I was on a journey to take a more healthy approach toward my lifestyle. In 2013, I re-evaluated a lot of things and I say "no" to people, things and commitments more often without guilt. In 2014, I got serious about doing what I want to do and really living life. I am excited about my life and where I'm headed with the most amazing people all around me!
