My husband is funny. He keeps giving me a hard time about all the ‘healthy’ food in the house. I guess he’d rather eat junk all the time. I am cooking regularly for the first time in our marriage…we will be married four years in July and we’ve lived together for five. He likes take out and to go out for dinner. I don’t fault him. I like that too or I wouldn’t have done it for so long. But this is so much better for us. My son even commented on how much more he likes dinners that I cook. So, here’s the plan…I have to hide the healthy! Turkey chili tonight instead of beef. Who can tell? It’s loaded with beans (low sodium – wink, wink) and spices. My son loved it! My hubby had a work meeting followed by dinner with coworkers, but he said that it smells so good that he is going to eat some anyway and take it for lunch tomorrow. Ha ha ha! Healthy for you…BAM!
I made meatloaf the other night and chopped veggies in the food processor, mixed them right into the meat and guess what? They loved it!
